I just returned from one glorious month in Umbria and Tuscany hosting two Olive Harvest Adventure groups, where 10 dynamic women from St. Louis on the first tour and 3 lovely couples on the second tour experienced an authentic Italian week – food, wine, art, music, fun and olive oil!
Stay tuned for many stories (including helping create the world’s largest frittata at a truffle festival) and memories (including 10 women stopping traffic in the remote villages)… but wanted to immediately share a stunningly beautiful video created by Stan Pengelly from our tour.

Carol, thanks for sharing this video of your olive harvest trip. Gorgeous and so evocative. Your Passionate Olive brand comes through so clearly. I wish that I could have joined you!
What an amazing time you must have had and how lucky for those who could join you! My husband and I are planning a trip to Florence and then Tuscany for October 2012. We are taking our adult kids and would love to also have a cook who can teach us about making an Italian meal, start to finish. If you have any suggestions on where to stay (villas), olive groves to visit,a chef/cook or anything, I’d love to hear from you!
Truly, Deb
